Youth President from Lincolnshire

Congratulations to Tom Hart, member at Keelby Methodist Church in Grimsby and Cleethorpes Circuit who was inducted as national Methodist Youth President at a special service in Grimsby on Sunday 10th September 2023.

Earlier in the year Tom said "I'm really excited to work with the young people of the Methodist Church around Britain, exploring what faith is for them. Being from the Lincolnshire District, I know how geographically isolated some communities can be and that can be hard for young peoples faith to grow as they can feel alone. I hope that youth groups in the District will contact me when I start the role in August 2023, to see how we can work together across circuits in the District but also across the Connexion.

The service was attended by members of the Connexional team and the President and Vice President of Conference. Worship was led by the Methodist brass band and Rev Jade Bath from Grimsby and Cleethorpes Circuit was the preacher.
