ADVERTISEMENT – CIRCUIT SUPPORT WORKER

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for our Circuit to employ
a part time Circuit Support Worker to lead Worship and work with our Circuit
Lay Minister to support and encourage churches within our Circuit and to engage
with and reach out to their communities.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a recognised preaching qualification. There is a genuine
occupational requirement for the successful candidate to be a committed
Christian.

Has good communication skills and can relate effectively
with a wide range of people.

Can demonstrate practical experience in successful outreach
and evangelism.

Is able to present a Christian example with a willingness to
understand and engage with Methodism and be subject to its discipline.

Is willing to engage with the Circuit’s digital presence.

This is a new 2-year fixed contract appointment starting as
soon as possible.

Salary: £15.00 per hour (the Methodist Church is a living
wage employer)

Hours of Work: 24 hours per week.

An enhanced DBS check is required.
