Training

The Creating Safer Spaces: Foundation Moduleusually takes place locally within circuits either face to face or online. Please contact your Circuit Safeguarding Officer for details of upcoming courses. This course must be repeated every four years unless you are required to take the Advanced module.

An alternative is to attend a District run course which is to be held at a central venue on Saturday 6th July 2024 during the day time – details to be finalised.

Creating Safer Spaces: Advanced Module is organised and led by the District.

There are two routes to completing the Advanced module should this be required for your role. Either you need to attend a face to face session or you need to do some individual learning on a website called Theology x followed by a gathered session on Zoom.

Future dates:
Tuesday 23rd April, 7pm – Gathered session for the online course
Thursday 6th June, 7pm – Gathered session for the online course

If you have done the foundation course in the last four years and need to do Advanced then please book in.
