Our Story Our Song launched at Synod

30 amazing pieces of art, craft, sculpture, dance and poetry came together for the first time on Saturday at District Synod under the banner of "Our Story Our Song, My Song My Song".

When Rev Angy Long, Chair of District, invited contributions from individuals and churches I don't think she envisaged such a variety of wonderful creations. The testimonies and stories that accompany the art are equally as inspiring and moving.

You have a chance to see the exhibition as it goes on tour round the District over the next 5 months. Exact opening times will be advertised but for now here are the dates:

Side Door Church in Grimsby – 25th and 26th April
Holbeach Methodist Church – 15th to 17th May (also 40th Anniversary and flower festival)
Kirton Methodist Church, Boston – 23rd May
Market Rasen Methodist Church – 29th – 31st May
Winterton Methodist Church near Scunthorpe – 13th and 14th June (also 60th anniversary celebrations)
Nettleham Methodist Church, Lincoln – 15th and 16th August
