Free fun and games at Scartho

At Scartho Methodist Church, we decided we needed to do something to help families with the cost of living crisis in the school holidays. It was decided we would open the church for families to come and play games/do crafts, for free, one afternoon per week. We set up indoor and outdoor games and a variety of crafts and advertised on Facebook and have had 70+ children and their parents and carers enjoying them each week. On Tuesday afternoons, our church is full to the brim with non church families having fun and people from church chatting to them. It's definitely something we'll repeat!
