The Challenge of Comfort

Our speaker is Madeleine Reed, current Helen Kim Memorial Scholar and includes an invitation to visit Epworth Old Rectory at the end of the day with Madeleine. The Helen Kim Memorial Scholarship is a 5 year training programme run by the World Federation of Methodist & Uniting Church Women, of which MWiB is the British Unit, open to young women between the ages of 18 -30 at the time of appointment. Madeleine is nearing the end of her time as HKMS and we will be looking to appoint our next HKMS in the autumn ready to start their training at the World Federation gathering in Auckland, New Zealand next August. This is a great opportunity for young Methodist women so look out on the MWiB website for more information.
